CISS Names a New Director

The Center for Intelligence and Security Studies (CISS) has named Dr. Tim Russell as its new director. See Full Details.


The University is pleased to announce that Dr. Timothy Russell has accepted the position as the Director of the Center for Intelligence and Security Studies (CISS) and will officially assume the position effective April 1, 2018.  Dr. Russell has 10 years of service at the Central Intelligence Agency, U.S. Department of State, and in the White House, and has 5 years of experience teaching intelligence and international relations courses, most recently for Georgetown University and the University of Mississippi.  He is an accomplished intelligence manager and educator who can help the CISS programs grow to new levels of success.  CISS currently offers a minor in intelligence and securities studies and routinely places graduates into positions within the intelligence community.
