EEO Category Staff Member of the Year:
The University of Mississippi Staff Council and Interim Chancellor Sparks would like to recognize staff members who have served the University in an exemplary manner. We are, therefore, asking for your input into the selection of those individuals who deserve recognition for their outstanding contributions.
As you think about your selection of any EEO category and outstanding staff member, you should consider the following criteria that characterize an outstanding employee:
- Loyalty and Dedication
- Positive attitude
- Honesty and Integrity
- Goes above and beyond their normal job duties
- Supports the mission of the University
The outstanding staff members selected in the EEO categories will be awarded $500 each, along with a plaque. The Overall Outstanding staff member will be awarded $1000, along with a plaque. Winners will be announced and recognized at the Staff Recognition Award Ceremony on Friday, May 17th 2019.
EEO Category Staff Member and Overall Staff Member of the Year elections will take place from Monday, April 15 - Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
To vote for EEO staff member of the year, log into myOleMiss. => Use the Search located under your name to find "Vote in Staff Elections" and vote in your EEO Category.
To vote for Overall staff member of the year, please complete and submit the attached form.
