This popular two-week long workshop is focused on the development of performance skills in music theatre and includes exercises in singing, acting, and movement. There will be two sections of the camp based on age. Each section will present a production on the last day of the workshop.

Since its inception in 1996, the Youth Music Theatre Workshop has provided performance opportunities for children in Oxford and surrounding areas in musical theatre, operetta, and original works. Julia Aubrey, Director of the Ford Center for the Performing Arts & UM Opera Theatre, and Dr. Robert Aubrey,  Instructional Assistant Professor of Music Education bring a wealth of experience to the Youth Music Theatre Workshop. This husband and wife team has collaborated on children’s theatre, university and professional opera and musical theatre productions for over thirty years.
