Kid-Focused in June
Communiversity is offering two classes for kids this June: Kids on Canvas (6+) and Safe Sitter Essential Skills for Kids (11-14). Join us!
KIDS ON CANVAS! Ages: 6 and up, Saturday, June 2, 2018, 9 - 11:30 a.m.
Canvas painting with kids is such a fun way to encourage creativity using different materials. Kids will have a great time painting on canvas! Students will be guided through a step-by-step process and learn tips and techniques from a painter. Each student will complete one canvas on 11 x 14 canvas board.
SAFE SITTER ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR KIDS Ages: 11 to 14, Saturday, June 16, 2018, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Safe Sitter® is a nationally recognized program for 11-14 year olds in which participants learn life-saving skills so they can be safe if home alone or watching younger children. Participants play fun games, do some role-playing exercises, and even learn fundamental CPR and first aid practices to help rescue someone who is choking. At the conclusion of the class, participants will be prepared to handle any situation that may arise while babysitting.
