Since 2013, the Green Fund has awarded more than $50,000 in funding to 21 campus projects. If your project is funded, the UM Green Fund Committee will work with you to assist with implementation of the project. Project proposal writing assistance may also be available. Visit sustain.olemiss.edu/umgf for details about proposal requirements and past project examples. E-mail green@olemiss.edu with questions.

Past proposals from students that received funding include the establishment of the UM Compost Program; the installation of a bike repair station at RC South and the installation of the first campus hydration stations.

Past proposals from employees that received funding include funding to plant native plants on a portion of campus; support for Lenoir Dining as it pursues Green Restaurant Association certification; and the installation of low emissivity film on a selection of the J.D. Williams Library's windows.
