Study Abroad in Croatia & Bosnia: June 2019

Study Abroad in Dubrovnik, Croatia on this Ole Miss faculty-led program; earn political science credit (POL-398)!

Spend two weeks in beautiful Dubrovnik, Croatia – the “pearl of the Adriatic” – studying the issues of international cooperation and conflict. Positioned on the stunning Dalmatian coast, Dubrovnik is a medieval walled city that will lend itself to in-depth study about international security and cooperation. Students will engage with policy makers, locals, and learn about the political history of the region while developing and presenting their own research project. As part of the program, we will travel to multi-confessional Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina – where the spires of Catholic cathedrals, Orthodox churches, and mosques dot the skyline. Various excursions around Dubrovnik and Sarajevo will occur. Earn political science credit through this two-week, three credit hour, Faculty-Directed Summer Program. Course: “Security and Cooperation in Southeastern Europe (POL-398).” This program is open to all majors. Program date: June 2019. Questions? Please contact Professor Matt Becker (mtbecker@olemiss.edu).
