Mississippi: The Dance Company -- Calling Terpsichore!
Mississippi: The Dance Company's annual concert features 9 pieces, including works by guest choreographers Eric Rivera and Dwight Rhoden.
Terpsichore is the Greek goodess of dance, and this year's annual concert of the University of Mississippi's resident modern dance company invokes her name and spirit in celebration of all things dance. A total of 9 pieces will be performed by more than 30 dancers, including works by faculty, students and two guest choreographers.
The opening night performance on Friday, Feb. 22 will be followed by a reception at the Oxford-University Depot.
