March Workshops in the IDEAlab

Join us for free workshops in the IDEAlab (located on the 1st Floor of the J.D. Williams Library).

The IDEAlab will be hosting a number of free workshops through the month of March. We are excited to introduce our newest workshop: CODE.WIRE.CREATE. This session will introduce participants to DIY electronics and coding. Also returning to the IDEAlab, Sewing for Beginners. Learn how to hand stitch a button and get hands-on experience with a sewing machine. Also returning this month is Virtual Reality for Beginners. Learn about emerging technologies in extended reality and demo the IDEAlab's Occulus Rift VR set. Due to popular request, we will be holding two workshops on iMovie Editing for Beginners. Learn to add soundtracks, green screen fx, and transitions in order to take your video projects to the next level. Knit 1 Noon-1, gives textile crafters the chance to work together regardless of skill level in this weekly meet-up.

Check out our schedule with full details in the attached PDF flyer. Email Christina Streeter at for more details or to RSVP for a workshop. Please note: no RSVP is required for Knit 1 Noon-1.
