Staff Council

The Red & Blue Celebration will honor UM Staff Members who have graduated or plan to graduate in December 2018, May 2019, or August 2019. This event will be held May 8, 2019, 12 noon, at the Inn at Ole Miss located at 120 Alumni Drive; University, MS 38677.

UM Staff Members who are eligible to participate in this ceremony are employed primarily in non-teaching activities in support of the educational, research, and service programs of the University. They may be full-time or part-time administrative, professional or other staff employees  who are eligible for fringe benefits (i.e. personal and sick leave, retirement benefits and healthcare) and located on any campus of the University of Mississippi. Student workers are not eligible for this event.

*NEW THIS YEAR * We plan to have a video about our 2019 graduates playing at the event. Please tell us what inspired you to complete this degree. The quote must be appropriate for a family-friendly event. If you would like to be include a photo along with your quote, upload it along with your online application. This photo can include friends, family, and co-workers, but must be appropriate for a family-friendly event. (image files only – max size 10mb).

Your guests are encouraged to attend the ceremony, but we ask that guests pre-register to guarantee we have enough resources at the event. Please have your guests complete the Guest Registration Form  by Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
