Spring Events in the IDEAlab Makerspace
Join us for free workshops and events in the IDEAlab (located on the 1st Floor of the J.D. Williams Library).
The IDEAlab will be hosting a number of free workshops and events throughout the months of April and May. We are hosting a special guest maker session: 360 Camera Demo with Professor Ji Hoon Heo. Bring in an idea or project you would like to get started in our BuildLAB event. Repair/upcycle an old or broken object at our RepairSHOP session.
Make connections at the monthly Maker Meet-Up where creators join for discussion and potential collaboration. We're bringing Game Night back to the IDEAlab for table-top, RPG and e-game enthusiasts. ShareLAB will feature a 10-minute mini-talk that allows one UM student to share their ideas on a topic-- this month, "How I Built Good Credit as an Undergrad", featuring Thomas Riddle.
Learn how to operate and load 3D models on a 3D printer at our Hands-On 3D Workshop. Or, learn how to create your own 3D-printable designs at TinkerCAD 3D Design for Beginners.
