Title IX/Conduct Hearing Advisor Training
Faculty and staff are invited to attend a training to become Title IX Hearing Advisors. Training date is September 27th from 9:30-12pm.
UMatter: Student Support & Advocacy is reaching out to recruit faculty and staff members willing to serve our students as Title IX/Conduct Hearing Advisors. All students are encouraged to have an advisor during a Title IX/Conduct hearing, and The University of Mississippi must maintain a list of trained advisors to support all students in their hearing processes.
Total time commitment for advisors might be 10-15 hours a semester, including a training each semester. Advisors will receive training from the offices of Conflict Resolution and Student Conduct, Title IX, and UMatter. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve students and receive relevant training in our field.
