Study Abroad in Croatia: Summer 2020

Study abroad in Dubrovnik, Croatia on this Ole Miss faculty-led summer program! Open to all majors.

Spend two weeks in Dubrovnik, Croatia – the “pearl of the Adriatic” and site of King's Landing. Positioned on the stunning Dalmatian coast, Dubrovnik is a medieval walled city that will lend itself to the study of international security, cooperation, and policy – from the wars of the 1990s to the expansion of NATO and the EU. As part of the program, we will travel to multi-confessional Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina – where the spires of Catholic cathedrals, Orthodox churches, and mosques dot the skyline. See where World War I began with the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo. Various excursions around Dubrovnik will occur, such as to the Elaphiti Islands. Course: “Security and Cooperation in Southeastern Europe (POL-398).” This program is open to all majors.
