Evicted Donation Drive: Sept 16 - Oct 16

Sparked by Evicted to get involved with housing issues locally? Participate in our donation drive for Doors of Hope Transitional Ministries.

As a part of The 2019 Common Reading Experience with Evicted, the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement is facilitating a donation drive on campus to support Doors of Hope Transitional Ministries. Donation boxes are located at the following spots until October 16th. 

  • 1st Floor Lamar Hall, outside the POD
  • East and West Library entrances 
  • Coulter Hall lobby
  • Honors College Kitchen

Items needed:

  • Toilet Paper
  • Paper towels
  • Garbage bags
  • Laundry detergent
  • Dish soap
  • Dishwasher powder/pods
  • Shampoo & Conditioner (appropriate for all hair types)
  • Soap & Body wash
  • Deodorant
  • Razors for women
  • Brushes, combs and hair ties
  • Wash cloths
  • Diapers & Pull ups ( size 2 and up)
  • Baby wipes
  • Cleaning supplies (409, Tylex, Comet, Lysol, furniture polish)
  • Sponges

Items will also be collected at the Housing in Oxford panel discussion held on 10/16 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in Bryant Hall Auditorium Classroom 209. This event is free and open to the public.
