Campus Climate Assessment Survey Now Live!

UM faculty, staff and students can participate in campuswide survey related to campus climate. Use your voice, win prizes.

University of Mississippi faculty, staff and students can participate in a campuswide climate assessment survey, which is available at yourvoice.olemiss.edu. The survey’s aim is to continue work toward creating an environment characterized by openness, fairness and equal access for all.

A committee of UM students, faculty and staff has worked with Rankin & Associates, an external consulting group specializing in the higher education field, since February 2019 to develop the climate assessment.

UM students, faculty and staff will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for completing the survey, which ends Nov. 12. The prizes include parking passes and gift cards ranging from $150 to $250.

Paper copies and computers will be available for those who need these accommodations to take the survey.

All voices are needed in this very important effort to promote a welcoming and inclusive environment across the entire campus. The results will better enable the university to both develop programs and policies that will increase inclusivity in areas that are shown to be problematic and to enhance and replicate programs and policies in areas that are shown to be successfully meeting the needs of the community.

The survey takes an average of 20-30 minutes to complete. All answers will remain strictly confidential. Survey results will be shared in spring 2020.
