Study Abroad in Croatia: Summer 2020

Study abroad in Dubrovnik, Croatia on this Ole Miss faculty-led summer program. Open to all majors.

Spend two weeks this summer in Dubrovnik, Croatia – the “pearl of the Adriatic.” Positioned on the stunning Dalmatian coast, Dubrovnik is a medieval walled city that will lend itself to the study of international security, cooperation, and policy – from the wars of the 1990s to the expansion of NATO and the EU. As part of the program, we will travel to multi-confessional Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina – where the spires of Catholic cathedrals, Orthodox churches, and mosques dot the skyline. Various excursions around Dubrovnik will occur, such as to the Elaphiti Islands and Korcula Island. Course: “Security and Cooperation in Southeastern Europe (POL-398).” Program dates: June 20 - July 5, 2020. This program is open to all majors.

Please contact Dr. Matt Becker (mtbecker@olemiss.edu) for more information.

An interest group meeting will be held on January 29th at 5:30 p.m. in 131 Deupree Hall.
