A Pulitzer Turns 40: How Politics & Media Have Changed

Pulitzer-winner Fred Anklam joins MS Today's Anna Wolfe & Adam Ganucheau in a multi-generational discussion of public service journalism.

Forty years ago to the day, the Clarion Ledger newspaper in Jackson, Miss., won its first and only PulitzerPrize for its investigative/legislative reporting and strong editorial campaign to spur the state toward historic educational reform. Fast-forward to present day and a different Mississippi publication is working to hold government officials and others accountable in the largest welfare scandal in state history. Pulitzer winner Fred Anklam joins Mississippi Today’s Anna Wolfe and Adam Ganucheau in a multi-generational discussion of public service journalism. OC chairman Charles Overby will moderate.
