Operation Immunization to Provide Flu Shots
Operation Immunization provides flu shots to Ole Miss students, faculty and staff.
The University of Mississippi chapter of the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists is conducting its annual Operation Immunization for providing flu shots to the Ole Miss community.
The cost is $40, and can be billed to most insurance plans, as university students, faculty and staff should bring their Ole Miss ID and prescription insurance card. What insurance doesn't cover can be charged to Bursar accounts.
The vaccine will be offered as a drive-thru at the South Oxford Center Parking Garage, located at 2301 South Lamar Boulevard. COVID-19 symptoms and temperatures will be checked.
Operation Immunization will take place from 1-4 p.m. CT on these select dates:
- Wednesday, September 23
- Tuesday, October 6
- Thursday, October 15
- Wednesday, October 21
- Tuesday, October 27
The flu vaccine is also available at Pharmacy Health Services, located inside the V.B. Harrison Health Center on campus, during its operation hours.
