Master's Degree in Athletic Training

Learn more about the newest Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program in the SEC.

The University of Mississippi is now offering a new professional Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program that will begin in July of 2021!

Our goal is to make this the best athletic training program possible by offering diverse academic and clinical experiences that will help to create well-rounded athletic training professionals. UM students will learn from faculty that are seasoned clinical professionals (over 25 years of experience combined), as well as gain first-hand experience with world-class SEC athletes and some of the top professionals in the field of athletic training.

The MSAT program includes preceptors from the Ole Miss Health & Sports Performance athletic training staff and a Medical Director that serves both Athletics and the MSAT program. The MSAT is a 2-year intensive cohort program, housed in the new School of Applied Sciences building.

We are now accepting applications for this exciting new program.
