The Voter Ambassador program is a leadership program that offers students from the University of Mississippi the opportunity to work with UM students on becoming more engaged in the voting process. The Voter Ambassador program holds the lasting goals of increasing college students’ knowledge of their right to vote and the general voting process, as well as increasing the percentages of UM students who are registered to vote, and who vote on election days. This work is primarily accomplished through networking with other student organizations, faculty, and departments on the UM campus. As a Voting Ambassador, you will play such an instrumental role in helping students understand the importance of exercising their civic duties and how voting impacts our democracy.

Our Voting Ambassadors comprise two teams - one of which is focused on voter registration and education and one of which is focused on voting policy and voting rights. Our voting registration and education team is focused on engaging the campus community in navigating the actual voting process, from registration and absentee ballots, to Election Day procedures and turnout. Our voting policy and voting rights team does nonpartisan voting advocacy work and is led by our Andrew Goodman Foundation team leaders. They work to understand and promote policies that make it easier for eligible individuals to vote and to educate others on their rights as voters.

Apply online at https://givepul.se/xa7hr9, no later than Friday, March 5, at 11:59 pm.
