TEDx presents 8 Talks about Resilience at the Ford Center on Tuesday, March 9 at 7 PM. Free but limited seating! Book your seats: 915-7411.


TEDxUniversityofMississippi will mount its 6th annual event, which aims to spark discussions in the community and promote positive change. Eight short TEDxTalks will explore perspectives and new research regarding Resilience. From sports and psychology to economy and substance recovery, these speakers will make you think about our ability to bounce back individually and collectively. Speakers are Coach Chris Cutcliffe & Dr. Hunter Taylor (sports), Marcela Weber (disaster preparedness), David Magee (well being), Kritika Gupta (food supply), Dr. Christopher Hunter (architecture), Sgt 1st Class Michael Wade (veterans in higher education), Jon Maynard (economy), and Elijah Mudryk (intercultural relations).
