Congratulations to English Professor Beth Ann Fennelly! Her talk, “How Literature Can Help us Develop Empathy,” has caught the attention of TED. Her talk debuted at the 2020 TEDxUniversityofMississippi event. It is currently being featured as part of TED’s “How to be a Better Human” series, and it was featured March 22, 2021 on TEDx Shorts Podcast (still available on Apple Podcast, Spotify, Google and other platforms).
