Summer Dress Code

This summer we will have a casual dress code for employees.

Starting Monday, May 17, employees should feel free to wear professional, casual attire to work up until the first day of classes on August 23.  Clothing should be comfortable, neat, tasteful, and appropriate for the work performed by the individual employee.

Safety standards associated with employee dress should not be compromised as a result of this change.  If shorts are worn, they should be knee length and loose fitting.

Any questions about the appropriateness of summer attire may be directed to your supervisor or to Human Resources.

Thank you,

Noel E. Wilkin, Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
Steven Holley, Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance
