GSC Symposium Seeking Creative Graduate Student Entries

The 12th annual GSC Research Symposium has added new competitive categories for Creative Achievement to include creative graduate students.

GSC Research and Creative Achievement Symposium

In the meeting held on November 15, 2021, the Senate approved the renaming of the annual GSC Research symposium to now be called the GSC Research and Creative Achievement Symposium.

This renaming will allow adequate presentation opportunities for graduate students in the College of Liberal Arts and School of Journalism and New Media, such as those belonging to music, and arts, fine arts, journalism, documentary, southern culture, etc.

In light of this change, the abstract submission categories are increased, and the abstract submission deadline is January 31, 2022. I look forward to seeing all the creative work our graduate students have been doing. Please click here to submit your research and creative achievement works now! This significant change is a work in progress, and I am happy to address any questions or concerns, and any suggestions are welcome! There will be three prizes of at least $1000 in each category. Be on the lookout for all the excellent events that will happen on March 8, 2022!
