Army ROTC Basic Camp is for college students that decide to join ROTC to become an Officer in the Army after starting college.  Basic Camp is a 32 day, PAID training course at Fort Knox, Kentucky that catches them up on the first two years of ROTC that they missed prior to joining.  The mission of Basic Camp is to test and motivate prospective students to enroll in the Advance ROTC course (Juniors/Gradutes).  Students who complete the 32 day training may be eligible for a 2 year Army ROTC scholarship with a $1200 book stipend per year and $420 per college month living allowance.  There is also a $5k Basic Camp Bonus to qualified sophmores/gradute students.  A college student can only receive the scholarship or the camp bonus.  Please contact Mr. Myron McWashingtion at 662-915-7238 or email mmcwashi@olemiss.edu about opportunities to become an Army Officer in the United States Army.
