NSF Day at MSU: Register by Fri Nov. 11

Join the NSF for a one-day workshop at Mississippi State University for an overview of NSF's mission and priorities. Zoom option available.

Hello friends and colleagues,

I would like to highly encourage you to participate in the NSF Day on the Mississippi State campus on Nov. 21.  The event will take place at The Mill (Google map link: https://goo.gl/maps/5nxqNFqS2d1z6kef7).

This event has been posted in UM Today for a number of weeks, but we just received word that in-person registration will end by 4:00 Friday 11/11.

This will be a unique event at which Dr. Sethuraman Panchanatha (“Panche”), NSF Director, will be speaking AND many Program Directors will also be in attendance during breakout sessions.  The panels and sessions will be focused on new and emerging opportunities at NSF as well as important guidance on successful proposals.  While virtual options are available for the morning panels, the breakout sessions do require physical attendance – and these should be valuable. This kind of access is rare and I hope you will be able to join me in Starkville!

You can register and see the agenda at   https://www.tfaforms.com/5018020.  Please register ASAP.

If there is sufficient interest, we can organize transportation.  Please express your interest on this form: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/4e00d839a88e4d00bf61444c27a246de

Please feel free to forward and to bring graduate students, postdocs, and other colleagues interested in learning more about success with NSF.

All the best,

Josh
