Interest meeting to study in Greece this June
Take WRIT 398 the 1st summer session and earn 3 hours humanities credit or apply it to the Rhetoric major or professional writing minor.
An interest meeting will be held Monday, November 18, at 4:00 PM in Lamar Hall room 323, for a 2-week course in Greece the first summer session 2025. Light refreshments will be served, along with information about the course.
WRIT 398: Comparing Democracies on Location in Greece takes place June 6-21, 2025, and will use the sites, landscapes, and museums as our classroom. Earn 3 hours credit that can be used to satisfy an upper-division humanities elective or toward the major in Writing, Rhetoric and Speech Communication or the minor in Professional Writing.
A minimum GPA of 2.5 and credit for WRIT 102/LIBA 102/HONS 102 are required.
Cost is ~$4200, not including airfare and some meals but does include comfortable accommodations in the center of Athens, all site visits, ground transportation, a welcome dinner, and breakfast and lunch.
