Univ. Launches Hotty Toddy TV Digital Signage Network

Hotty Toddy TV promotes university-wide events, opportunities and emergency/safety alerts.

The university now offers a new on-campus messaging platform. Hotty Toddy TV is a network of digital message boards displayed in academic spaces across campus. These displays will feature campus-wide messages to increase awareness of student-focused services, promote university-wide activities and opportunities and share emergency and safety information.

Campus members are invited to submit items for display on Hotty Toddy TV by submitting content to University Marketing and Communications (UM&C) through the online request form. Content should be submitted at least three business days prior to the display start date.

Below are a few highlights for submitting content for Hotty Toddy TV. Please read the complete guidelines, which includes guidance for appropriate use.

  • Content must be time-sensitive and relevant to the UM community.
  • Information will be displayed in approved design templates and closed captioned, as needed.
  • UM&C will insert submitted content into designed display templates. Submitters are not responsible for design elements of the message.
  • Messages will be broadcast for a defined period up to two weeks for a specific event. Open-ended and continuous announcements will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
