Submit to Venture: UM's Undergraduate Research Journal!
Venture is currently accepting submissions from undergraduates for its 2024 issue. You could also win one of two $500 prizes! Submit by 3/3!
Venture: The University of Mississippi Undergraduate Research Journal is seeking submissions from undergraduate students for its 2024 issue. Original research from any academic discipline and grade level is eligible.
Publishing a paper may seem daunting, but many students have already produced work for courses and their thesis that qualifies. Please consider submitting any of the following:
- Honors theses (Editing for length may be necessary.)
- Many long-form essays and papers for courses, as well as departmental capstones
- In STEM disciplines, papers and research from labs, courses, and individual projects
Venture’s deadline for submissions is March 3, 2024. Submissions may be accepted after that point, on a case-by-case basis. The authors of the two most exceptional pieces will each receive a commemorative award and $500 cash prize.
