Updated Protection of Minors Policy Now In Effect
Learn more about these changes, including new requirements for creating and running programs with minors.
Earlier this month, the Protection of Minors Participating in Youth Programs Policy (formerly, the Supervision of Minors Policy) was updated to offer a stronger standard for providing for and protecting minors in youth programs and to better reflect what is required of a program and those involved.
If you or your department interact with minors in any way, please view the attached info flyer for the most notable changes. Additionally, you can visit eorc.olemiss.edu/minors to view the policy, access training materials, and register your program with EORC.
