Session 2 - Intro to Weightlifting

Intro to Weightlifting will meet for one hour and occur twice weekly in The Tank and The Vault at the Turner Center.

The training is designed for beginners who want to learn the basics of weightlifting and will be taught for all fitness levels.  The sessions will involve an overview of our primary functional movements. The list includes squats, presses, rows and deadlift variations using primarily barbells and dumbbells. The program is built to progress with the participants' fitness levels each week. The instructor will teach the participants the various workout materials while motivating them in a positive, healthy environment. No previous weightlifting experience needed to participate.
