Sen. Scott and Dr. Skultety discuss the future of American freedom, redemption, and the future of American civic life.


The University of Mississippi’s Declaration of Independence Center for the Study of American Freedom will host U.S. Sen. Tim Scott on October 27 for a discussion of the state of American democracy and the importance of restoring faith in the country.

This 3:30 p.m. event is free and open to the public and will be held at The Sandy and John Black Pavilion at Ole Miss, 762 All American Drive, University, MS 38677. 

The discussion will be moderated by Steven Skultety, director of the Center, UM professor, and chair of the UM Department of Philosophy & Religion.
