Lectures

Dr. William Risch, Professor of History at Georgia College, will visit UM and present a talk at the Croft Institute for International Studies entitled Democracy at War: Uklrainian Politics after Russia's Invasion on Tuesday, March 26 at 6:00 pm. Students, faculty and community members are welcome for the talk and Q & A session, which will take place in the Joseph C. Bancroft Conference Room of Croft. 

Dr. Risch teaches Russian, East European History, and German History at Georgia College. He is author of The Ukrainian West: Culture and the Fate of Empire in Soviet Lviv (Harvard University Press, 2011) and editor and contributor of Yourh and Rock in the Soviet Bloc: Youth Cultures, Music, and the State in Russia and Eastern Europe (Lexington Books, 2015).
