Summer 2025 Road and Parking Lot Maintenance

Starting July 7, vehicles should not park in and avoid areas of Poole Dr., Tad Smith Coliseum, Sorority Row and Northgate Dr.

As part of annual roadway and parking lot maintenance projects, vehicles should avoid the following areas and relocate to alternate parking locations beginning Monday, July 7 for approximately two weeks:

  • Poole Drive – From Chucky Mullins Drive to All American Drive, including parallel and pull-in parking on the street.
  • Tad Smith Coliseum Faculty/Staff Parking Lot (north side of the Coliseum).
  • Tad Smith Coliseum Commuter Blue Parking Lot (northwest side of the Coliseum).
  • Sorority Row – From Grove Loop to West Jackson Avenue, including all pull-in parking on the street.
  • Sorority Circle near the Honors College (all parking and drive lanes).
  • Northgate Drive – From Sorority Row to the crosswalk south of Crosby Hall.
  • Crosby Hall west side access road.

The projects, which involve asphalt removal, repaving and repainting of lines and markings, will begin July 8 and could last two weeks or longer depending on weather. The attached maps provide details on each project.

Please plan to find alternate access and parking options. All areas will be closed to parking once work starts and will remain closed until pavement markings are reinstalled.

Only park in areas with clearly marked parking spaces. Vehicles that obstruct or block work progress may need to be relocated and could be subject to citation and towing fees. Some areas/streets may allow for vehicle passage, but it is recommended to avoid driving through active work zones. Please pay attention to signage and any work crews onsite.
